Sinopsis
Este libro es fruto de una colaboración entre investigadores de la Universidad de Aveiro, el Institut de Creativitat i Innovacions Educatives, la Universidad de Cantabria y la Universidad de Vic. Reúne una selección de trabajos presentados en el 2º Simposio Internacional: “Música para y por Niños: Perspectivas de Compositores, Intérpretes y Educadores”, que tuvo lugar del 28 al 30 de septiembre de 2022 en Aveiro, Portugal. El enfoque principal de este libro es la importancia del desarrollo creativo en la educación musical. A través de diversos estudios e investigaciones, explora cómo la creatividad se convierte en un elemento fundamental para enriquecer y transformar las prácticas educativas en el campo de la música. Los autores presentan diferentes perspectivas y experiencias que demuestran cómo la creatividad puede mejorar el aprendizaje musical y fomentar la participación activa de los estudiantes. El libro busca trascender las barreras convencionales en la educación musical, cuestionando el énfasis excesivo en la notación musical y la rigidez de los enfoques tradicionales. Promueve una visión más abierta y flexible de la música, donde se valora la diversidad de estilos y géneros, así como la inclusión de las experiencias de los alumnos en el proceso creativo. Los autores del libro comparten su experiencia en la implementación de estrategias creativas en el aula, brindando ejemplos prácticos y consejos para que los docentes incorporen efectivamente la creatividad en sus prácticas pedagógicas. Sara Carvalho is a composer and a lecturer at the University of Aveiro in Portugal. She's interested in the interaction between different Performing Arts, and all aspects associated with gesture, musical narrative and performer-composer collaboration. Her catalogue has over 50 works that are regularly performed, including commissions by ensembles of international merit, and prestigious institutions. Several of her pieces are available on CD. In 2012 her monographic CD "7 pomegranate seeds" was published. Many of her scores are published by the Portuguese Music Information Centre – MIC.PT. Her research work is presented at international conferences, and it's published in different journals and book chapters.

Graduated in Artistic Education–area: Music, and Master in Music–PPGMUS Program, at the State University of Santa Catarina–UDESC (Brazil). Experience as a music educator with children in early childhood education institutions, music schools and teaching centers. She taught training courses for teachers and was a virtual tutor at the Federal University of São Carlos-SP (UAB/MEC) in the Music Education course (Production of Didactic Material for Music Education). Main areas of interest: early childhood music education, musical creativity and teacher training. She has scientific articles published in journals and conferences and collaborations in books.

M.A. in Music Education and Ph.D. in Education from the University of Granada, with a “Doctor Europeus” mention, Cremades-Andreu is Associate Professor of music education and Vice-Dean of Research and Postgraduate Studies in the Faculty of Education at the Complutense University of Madrid. His main research interests are music education, teacher training, and musical preferences. In this lines of research, he has presented his work at national and international conferences, as well as in prestigious journals in his field of study.

Born in Barcelona (1991), Cristina Cubells Pérez is a playwright, stage director and researcher on critical pedagogies in artistic creation. She is currently doing her doctoral research in the Department of Humanities at Universidad Carlos III (UC3M) where she teaches philosophy of education, theatre and interdisciplinary creation. She also coordinates the Seminar Critical Pedagogies together with the Department of Education and Artistic Mediation of the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC). He has also developed interdisciplinary creation projects about contemporary music for children and young people such as ExtremActual, Itinerantes, Mundos sonoros y criaturas vibrantes’ and Pleasure Island in Extremadura, Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia.

Junior Researcher (CEECIND/03404/2017) of Instituto de Etnomusicologia-Centro de Estudos em Música e Dança (INET-md/UA), in Portugal, Clarissa Foletto is institutional coordinator of DigiMusi project that is financially supported by European Comission-Programme Erasmus+ and integrates the research team of the REACT project (Rethinking Music Performance in European Higher Education Music Institutions-Erasmus+). She holds a European PhD in Music-Instrumental teaching from the University of Aveiro and Institute of Education/ University College of London. Her research focus is on innovative approaches to instrumental teaching and learning, digitalisation in music, teacher and student communication, strings pedagogy and music education in early childhood.

Joan Gómez Alemany (Valencia, 1990). Inicia el Grado en Composición con Oliver Rappoport (Conservatori del Liceu) y lo termina con Clemens Gadenstätter (Kunst Universität Graz). Es Máster en Composición (KUG) con Franck Bedrossian y Máster en Ópera y Musik-Theater (KUG) con Gadenstätter. Además es Título Superior de Piano, iniciándolo en el Conservatorio Superior de Música Joaquín Rodrigo y terminándolo en el Conservatori del Liceu y Licenciado en Bellas Artes (Universitat Politècnica de València). Actualmente está doctorándose (UPV) con una tesis sobre la interdisciplinariedad artística. Gómez Alemany compagina la creación musical, las artes visuales y el cine, en continuo diálogo, con la escritura de ensayo y crítica principalmente sobre música y arte. Sus composiciones han sido encargadas o interpretadas en festivales como el Darmstädter Ferienkurse, impuls, ManiFeste-IRCAM… Algunas de sus composiciones están publicadas por la Universal Edition y editadas por la discográfica Liquen Records. Ha sido coordinador y escritor del libro Valencia y la abstracción, construcciones con geometría y color. Trayectoria vital y creativa del artista Vicente Gómez García (1926-2012).

Assistant Professor of Music Education at the State University of Paraná in Brazil, his research and teaching focus on Early Childhood Music Education. He has experience teaching and coordinating music courses for children aged 0-8 years at Alecrim Dourado, a music school in Curitiba. He holds a PhD in Music from the Federal University of Paraná and is currently engaged in post-doctoral studies on Education at the same institution, with recent research exchange experience at the University of Minho in Portugal. He is a member of two research groups: Art, Education and Teacher Training (State University of Paraná) and Educamovimento-Childhood and Early Childhood Education (Federal University of Paraná). He is also a member of the Brazilian Music Education Association (ABEM) where he serves as the co-editor of the Music in Basic Education Journal (Revista Música na Educação Básica). Additionally, he serves on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Music in Early Childhood.

Doctor en Educación por la Universitat Jaume I de Castelló, es licenciado en Música por el Conservatorio Superior de Música de Barcelona, Técnico Superior en Animación Sociocultural, DEA en teoría e historia de la educación por la UJI de Castelló y especialista universitario en música electrónica y vídeo creación por la Universitat Politècnica de València. Es funcionario de carrera por el cuerpo de Educación Secundaria en la especialidad de música en excedencia y, actualmente, es profesor de la Universitat de València en el departamento de Didáctica de la Expresión Musical, Plástica y Corporal, y miembro de su Instituto de investigación en Creatividad e innovaciones educativas. Su investigación se centra en la Educación Artística Multidisciplinar; lenguajes artísticos contemporáneos y el uso de la tecnología, proyectos de aprendizaje basado en la creación artística colaborativa y la creatividad musical. Ha recibido numerosos premios y reconocimientos en el campo de la pedagogía musical y, en la actualidad, forma parte del consejo de dirección de la revista Eufonía, de la editorial catalana Graó.

Doctora en Filosofía y Ciencias de la Educación por la Universidad del País Vasco, es licenciada Superior de Música (especialidad piano), profesora e investigadora en el área de Didáctica de la Expresión Musical en la Universidad de Cantabria. Interesada en el campo de la percepción y de la creación sonora, su investigación se centra en la escucha, la educación artística, el aprendizaje por proyectos, la creatividad musical y el uso de la tecnología. Cuenta con numerosas publicaciones en revistas especializadas de impacto. Ha contribuido activamente en más de treinta conferencias e invitada a participar en comités de científicos y organizadores. Actualmente, es miembro del consejo de dirección de la revista Eufonía. Lluís Solé, is a musician and researcher. Actually is professor of Music Pedagogy at Universitat de Vic-Universitat Central de Catalunya in Spain. He is formed as Biologist and as instrumentist of piano, recorder, harpsichord, cornett and bansuri. He has worked as music soloist and as teacher in secondary education. Also is founder and conductor of the UVic’s Inclusive Orchestra, an access and equity project on music practice based in the application of Universal Design Principles to orchestras. His interests are focused on accessibility in instrumental music making and participation in music regardless individual musical skills (abilities). He is interested also in the Arts-Based processes (Inquiry, Evaluation, Assessment or dissemination) through the music.

Actualmente, trabaja como profesor e investigador en el Instituto de Creatividad e Innovaciones Educativas de la Universitat de València. Desde 1989 ha desarrollado tareas docentes en el ámbito de la tecnología musical en diferentes centros españoles, europeos y americanos. Sus líneas de investigación son el diseño de software educativo y la multimodalidad en la educación musical.

Estudió en el Conservatorio de Música Calouste Gulbenkian de Aveiro, se licenció en Ciencias Musicales por la Universidade Nova de Lisboa y obtuvo un doctorado en Educación por el Instituto de Educación de la Universidad de Lisboa. Es investigador y miembro integrado de CIPEM | INET-md (Centro de Investigación en Psicología de la Música y la Educación Musical, Instituto de Etnomusicología-Música y Danza) y CIEF-IPS (Centro de Investigación en Educación y Formación del Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal). Autor de diversas publicaciones y proyectos, sus intereses de investigación actuales se centran en las áreas de educación artística, enseñanza de la música, artes, inclusión y bienestar, políticas públicas, creatividad y profesionalismo de músicos y docentes. Profesor coordinador y director del Departamento de Artes de la Escola Superior de Educação del Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal.

Assistant researcher at INET-md-Institute of Ethnomusicology-Centre for Studies in Music and Dance at Aveiro University, Ana Luísa Veloso holds a PhD in Music in the field of Pedagogy, that she concluded in 2012 at Aveiro University with a scholarship from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology. From 2015 to 2020 she was a postdoctoral Fellow at CIPEM, a pole of INET-md at Politécnico do Porto. Here, she had the opportunity to broaden her knowledge and expertise in areas such as Musical Creativity, Composition and Improvisation, Contemporary and Experimental Music in Educational Contexts, Formal and Non-formal Contexts of Learning, or Music, Personal and Social Transformation, that are key in her work nowadays.
