Sinopsis
This is the story of four already quite old adventurous Irish people
who rowed from Ireland to Galicia and, by dint of rowing, doing
the Way of Saint James by sea.
Writer and poet Danny Sheehy, musician Brendan Begley, artist
Liam Holden, and stonemason Brendan Moriarty embarked on a
Camino by sea in this 2,500 km odyssey. Musician Glen Hansard
would join the adventure’s last leg.
This reading novelizes the trials and tribulations of a journey
that required “sweat, blood and blisters to complete while deepening
and renewing friendship, creativity and spirituality in the process,”
as Danny Sheehy summarised.
