Sinopsis
This is the story of two boys aged
between 8 and 10 years old. They are active and fun and are always
together.They live in a nice, loving house with their doting parents.
It just so happens that one Saturday the boys" mum and dad have a lunch date at a nice restaurant (without the kids) and they are very much looking forward to going. The grandparents have been called to "babysit" and will be arriving any minute now. (I must emphasise that the wall clock plays an
important part in this story as everything that happens in it is in the time
frame of 5 minutes.)
But as sometimes things happen beyond our control we see that the grandparents haven"t arrived as yet and mum and dad must go now or they"ll be late.
Autor: Bermingham, Pauline
Pauline nació en Manchester, Inglaterra. Terminó el colegio a los 15 años y comenzó una aventura en la jefatura de la policía de la ciudad. Unos cuantos años más tarde se enamoró de su profesor de español. Se casaron y se fueron a vivir a las Islas Canarias. Al cabo de 10 años, ¡ya tenían 7 hijos! 5 niñas y 2 niños, todos muy traviesos. En las islas fundaron una academia de inglés con cientos de estudiantes de todas las edades. Educar, enseñar y contar historias siempre ha sido la gran pasión de Pauline. Con el paso de los años ha ido recolectando historias y poemas con el deseo de que sus nietos algún día puedan ver que la abuela, ¡era una tía guay!
